Crispy Parmesan-Crusted Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Crispy Parmesan-Crusted Roasted Brussels Sprouts

To make Brussels sprouts crispy, cheesy, and oh-so-delicious, we used the same technique as the popular TikTok Parmesan-Crussted Potatoes. These are excellent side dishes for almost any meal and couldn't be simpler. Use an air fryer to reheat any leftovers to preserve their crispy crust.

🕙 Total Time: 46 mins

Ingredients:

  • Trimmed and divided Brussels sprouts, 2 pounds

  • 1 cup of Parmesan cheese, finely shredded

  • 14 cups melted unsalted butter

  • 1 teaspoon of powdered garlic

  • 1 teaspoon of powdered onion

  • 1 kosher salt tsp.

  • 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper, ground coarsely

  • the zest of two lemons

Method:

  1. Set the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees C).

  2. Parmesan cheese, butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper should all be combined in a bowl. On a large nonstick baking sheet with a rim, distribute the cheese mixture in the middle in an even layer. Put a single, even layer of Brussels sprouts, cut sides down, about 3/4 to 1 inch apart, into the cheese mixture.

  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 16 to 18 minutes, or until the cheese layer is golden brown and crisp (the cheese will further crisp once removed from the oven). Allow standing for five minutes before serving by gently separating. Serve hot and top with lemon zest.
